The Project tab in the top-right of the Project Dashboard header opens the project-level actions menu.
Project dropdown showing Manage Users, Edit Project, Clone Project, and Delete Project.
The menu has four actions:
ActionWhat it does
Manage UsersAdd or remove people and change their project role.
Edit ProjectRe-open the project wizard with the current values prefilled.
Clone ProjectCreate a copy that starts from the current project’s configuration.
Delete ProjectPermanently delete the project after a typed confirmation.

Manage users

Choose Manage Users to open the Manage users in Project name modal.
Manage users modal with Admins, Contributors, and Viewers columns and a role dropdown showing Admin, Contributor, Viewer.
The modal is split into three columns β€” Admins, Contributors, and Viewers β€” that show who currently holds each role on the project. To invite someone:
  1. Search the workspace user list with Search and select a user.
  2. Pick a Role from the dropdown.
  3. Click Invite.
The three roles map to clear permissions:
RoleWhat they can do
AdminFull access, including deletion rights.
ContributorCan edit the project, but not delete it.
ViewerCan inspect the dashboard and the mapping view, but cannot change anything.
These are project roles. They are independent of the workspace-level role you set in Account and User settings.

Edit a project

Project menu with Edit Project hovered.
Choose Edit Project to re-open the project wizard with every field prefilled from the current project. The wizard starts on the Location step and you can move freely between Project Details, Building Details, Calculation Prerequisites, Reference Area, and Speckle Configuration to change whatever you need.
Edit page for NTI New Headquarter on the Location step, with the address and map prefilled.
The breadcrumb at the top of the page reads Projects β€Ί Project name β€Ί Edit so it is always clear that you are editing an existing project rather than creating a new one.
All wizard steps and field-level help from Create a new project apply here too.

Clone a project

Project menu with Clone Project hovered.
Clone Project is the fastest way to start a new project that shares most of its configuration with an existing one β€” for example, when you want to compare two design variants of the same building.
Clone Project page with an orange banner stating 'You are currently cloning NTI New Headquarter' on the Location step.
The clone flow walks you through the same wizard as creating a project, prefilled with the source project’s values. Adjust anything that should differ in the clone β€” location, calculation type, areas β€” and finish the wizard to save the new project. The original is unchanged.

Delete a project

Project menu with Delete Project hovered.
Deletion is permanent. The project, its mappings, and its reports cannot be recovered. Clone first if you want a backup.
To delete a project:
  1. Open the Project menu and choose Delete Project.
  2. In the confirmation modal, type the exact project name shown in bold above the input field.
  3. Click Delete project to confirm. Use Cancel or the Γ— to abort.
Delete Project modal asking you to type NTI New Headquarter to confirm.
The Delete project button stays disabled until the typed name matches exactly β€” this is the safeguard that prevents accidental deletions.
