Why do I get warnings about missing phases (C3, C4, B4, B6), and how do I handle them?
The regulation you’ve selected requires these lifecycle stages, but not every EPD declares them — that’s where the warning comes from.
- C3 and C4 may legitimately be reported as 0 in an EPD. A mapping with C3/C4 = 0 is still valid.
- B4 is calculated automatically: when a material’s lifetime is shorter than the project’s consideration period, Real-Time LCA adds replacement cycles for you.
- B6 is project-specific and isn’t carried by any EPD. Enter it under Edit project → Operational Energy Use.

The BR18 report follows the structure defined by Social- og Boligstyrelsen, which needs to know where each building element sits in that structure — because its placement determines whether the element is included per Table 6.As a result, building elements don’t appear in the report’s BR18 vejledning tab until they’ve been assigned a classification code. That’s why the BR18 report total can differ from the dashboard, which includes everything you’ve mapped.Some models already carry the classification codes, and these can be transferred to Real-Time LCA under Project Settings → Speckle Connection → Parameter Mapping — see Configure the Speckle models. Otherwise, you can assign them manually in the platform.
