# Grasshopper

> Parametric workflows from Grasshopper into Real-Time LCA — work in progress.

  The Grasshopper integration is **work in progress**. Details on supported nodes, parameter mapping, and the recommended workflow will land here as the integration stabilizes.

The goal is to let parametric Grasshopper definitions push geometry and quantities into a Real-Time LCA project through Speckle — so design iterations and option studies update the LCA in near real-time.

## What to expect

* A Speckle **Send** component to push the active geometry to a Real-Time LCA project's stream.
* Helper components for attaching the parameter Real-Time LCA uses to identify BIM types (by default `BIMTypeCode`).
* Patterns for option studies where each branch of a definition maps to a project version.

In the meantime, you can already drive Real-Time LCA from Grasshopper by publishing through the Speckle Connector for Rhino — see [Rhino](/user-guide/integrations/speckle/rhino).
