# AI Classification

> Let AI suggest building-element classification codes when your BIM source codes are missing or incorrect.

**AI Classification** suggests the right building-element classification codes for inventory items whose BIM source code is missing or incorrect. It runs only on the items you select — not the whole inventory — so you stay in control of where AI is applied.

AI Classification is an **open beta, enabled per organisation**. It is off until an administrator requests access.

## How it works

You trigger it from the material mapping view: enter selection mode, tick the rows you want to classify, run **AI Classification**, then review the suggested codes and accept them as-is or overwrite any you disagree with before applying.

## Models and data

AI Classification uses **Mistral** models through the Mistral API. It sends the **semantic properties** of the elements you select — never geometry — and no information about users, tenants, or projects beyond the materials and types in Real-Time LCA.
